Kind Words from Teacher Training and Yoga Students
"Absolutely transformational journey. The learning and unlearning has been so liberating not just as a teacher and student but as a human being. Grace is a fountain of knowledge and experience.
Yoga is for EVERYBODY as Grace taught us about functional vs aesthetic teaching. Her passion and knowledge for yin, meditation, inclusivity and psychology is absolutely unbelievable. Thank you Grace for holding space for us as we dived deep and thank you for showing us what bringing your whole self to teaching and life looks like. Cannot wait to learn from you for many years to come!
I feel so grateful to have found Grace and to have trained with her. As someone who never felt I was flexible enough for yoga, I now know that the yoga world wasn't flexible enough for me."
Joanne O' Meara, The Art of Yin Graduate, 2022
"So much more than just a yoga teacher training. It is a journey inwards. So much learning in a wonderfully supportive environment. 10/10 Recommend"
Gina O' Doherty, The Art of Yin Graduate, 2022
""The Art of Yin... for any teacher serious about enhancing their teaching skills and better serving their students, this is the training for you. I feel it is most suited to those who are willing to really reframe their teaching philosophy, unpack their current approach and waver outside linear thinking. Not for the faint-hearted as there are numerous self-discovery and deep dive moments into the shadow, the ego and particular thought patterns but it is worth every moment! I learned so much about my own self and I really do feel I have come out the other side with a greater understanding of myself afterwards.
I have learned so much from this training and I couldn't recommend Grace highly enough. She is professional, meticulous in her delivery, caring and supportive and I know that our learning together doesn't stop here - she is always willing to offer her help and support with different queries I may have. This training was like a breath of fresh air - new life has been brought into my teaching. I can feel it in my classes and see it in my students. Thank you so much, Grace!"

"This training will transform how you teach yoga to your students. The depth of knowledge which is covered in this course far exceeded my expectations, and I now teach my classes, both yin and yang, from a more functional and inclusive point of view"
Edward Hogan, The Art of Yin Graduate, 2022
“Without Grace I wouldn’t be the teacher I am today, holding space the way I do, understanding and standing back from the students experience the way I do, giving the gift of silence and space dotted with the odd question to contemplate on.
My experience of The Art of Yin training gave me the confidence and knowledge to be an even more compassionate, functional teacher. It enlightened me to the depths we can dive to in the practice of Yin and to the pure beauty we can find inside”

"I have loved, loved, loved my Art of Yin training. Best yoga training I have done in my 24 years of studying and practising yoga."
Sharon O'Sullivan, The Art of Yin Graduate, 2022
“This teacher training both nourished and challenged me physically, emotionally and intellectually. I have learned more about myself and how I process things and how I learn. I have gained an insight into the wonders of yin yoga and feel ready to bring this to others now. Grace has gently pushed me to go deeper into my why and this training ended up being much more than yoga. I am grateful to have had the privilege of taking part in this online training and making connections with some like-minded souls.”

"Taking up yin yoga with Grace this January was probably my best New Year's Resolution yet Grace is an incredible teacher who guides you through your practice in a gentle, non-judgemental way. Practising yin with Grace has pushed me outside my comfort zone in the best way possible, and both my mind and body have reaped the benefits "
Ger, Primary School Teacher, Dublin
“My first yin yoga class with Grace was in Australia. And it was incredible on so many levels. That class, and the others that followed, was the first real step in kick-starting my own healing journey following some life-changing events. The space that Grace creates in her yin yoga classes promotes opening in the body and in the mind. The space is protective, calm, safe, serene and nourishing. She has a tremendous capacity to lead and guide, gently encouraging you to trust your body and your mind, reminding you to remain present and to sit with the physical and emotional sensations evoked. When you take a yin yoga class with Grace, you feel as if you're the only yogi in the room. It's almost as if she can sense what you're feeling! Just at the point when you want to run away and come out of a pose - you'll hear Grace softly whispering to soften, to test your edge and to allow the healer within you do its job.”
Dorene, Banking Industry and Yoga Teacher, Dublin
‘I was looking for other forms of yoga to complement my Bikram yoga practice. I went to great lengths trying yin yoga at different studios and different teachers, but it wasn't really giving me what I was looking for until I took Grace's class. She literally hit the spot ... not only did I feel the stress on my ligaments, fascia and tendons, it also helped me meditate and quieten my thoughts. Her knowledge, compassion and style of teaching are very soothing to the mind, body and spirit. Her yin yoga class is a must try for beginners, mature yogis and exercise enthusiasts. Overall, a great experience. Can't wait to take her class again.”

“We are in an extremely fast-moving and pressurised society. There is an ever-growing interest in yoga, mindfulness, and alternative therapies, as people search desperately for some calm amidst the mayhem of everyday working life. Yin yoga with Grace is a therapeutic journey we should all experience”
Maria, GP, Dublin
“Grace was my first introduction to yin yoga more than 2 years ago now and I loved it so much that I was inspired to complete yin yoga teacher training myself. Grace's knowledge of the yin practice which not only incorporates the anatomical and physiological challenges and benefits but also the psychological shift, is second to none.”
Marie, Yoga Teacher, Dublin and India
“A few months ago I got the opportunity to take Grace's yin yoga class. I had zero idea what I was getting myself into but it was love at first try. Being a Bikram yoga teacher myself, and a huge gym enthusiast, I often find myself pushing too hard in many aspects of life. I came to the yin yoga class and soon found out that letting go of all of that would possibly be one of the biggest challenges ever. Yin yoga is anything but easy. It makes you face many deep and hidden issues in body and mind, and encourages you to embrace them, surrender and soften yourself to whatever they are trying to tell you.
I was genuinely impressed with Grace's insight, knowledge of the bodies in front of her and gentle way she helped us align ourselves. Grace creates an amazing welcoming atmosphere... the one thing that comes to mind is 'feeling safe'. I can honestly say that Grace is an amazing, caring and compassionate teacher, and yet ever so humble about the expertise she has. Long story short: yin yoga is amazing, Grace even more so. Trust me on that - I am not one to exaggerate.”
